The Coyotes
The Coyotes are a hot new group comprised of experienced performers Bill Dooley and Rik & Wendi Bourne. On guitar, fiddle, banjo, melodeon, and harmonica, their musical styles range from Texas swing, Southern old-time, British Isles, early jazz, Cajun, Delta blues, and Hawaiian slack-key as well as a wealth of original material.
Wendi has been a favorite on Kathy O'Connell's Kids Corner on WXPN-FM, 88.5, and Bill and Rik have appeared on Gene Shay's The Folk Show, also on WXPN. The group's individual members have performed at venues as far reaching as the Augusta Heritage Festival (Augusta, Georgia) to the Blue Bayou Café (rue St. Maur—Paris, France).
